OK, I am not a "certified" gospel magician. I am not even sure what that means, I was just kidding and I thought it might get you to visit this page. :>)

However, I am a Gospel Magician. I have studied and used Gospel Magic for over 20 years in my ministry.

I acutally tell everyone that I don't have any of those types of "powers." Most magicians you see try to make you think they have something special, but they have their tricks too. In fact I even tell the secret to all my tricks. Want to know what it is?? Here it is......

The purpose of our magic is to illustrate a gospel truth not to emphasize the trick itself. I do over 40 magic tricks, each one with a spiritual truth. Some of these truths are:

There are several different formats in which we use our magic.

1. An hour long program of magic.

2. We use several different tricks, and then preach and teach.

3. In a VBS or K.I.D.S. Krusade, I do several tricks each day and spread them out and the teach and preach.

I know that some would object to using Gospel Magic and that is their choice. I have never had anyone object to my presentation of it. It is Bible based, but not a substitute for the Bible. If you don't want magic in your program, then I have plenty of other medium to use: science experiments, flannel graph, puppets, story telling, flip charts, and just good old fashioned preachin'! I always tailor my program to the needs of the church and pastor.
