GAME TIME 2

HANGMAN

I was in the store one day (DOLLAR TREE OF COURSE) and saw these large Hangman Games.  I bought 2 of them, not being sure how to use them, then came up with this one.

We have a Hangman for each team, boys and girls.  These are skeletons, really, but the game is played similar to the Hangman I played as a kid.  The object of the game is to "hang" the other team.

Purchase some large #10 envelopes.  Ten or twelve  will do fine, depending on how many questions you want to use.  At the top to each envelope place a small piece of Velcro (the loop part so it will stick to the game board covered with material.  Inside the envelopes are cards telling what to do.  The cards can include:

Put a piece on the other team
Take a piece off the other team
Put a piece on your team
Take a piece off your team
Take a piece off your team, and place a piece on the other team
Take a piece off the other team, and place a piece on your team
etc,etc..

The kids answer the questions just like they do in the other games.  When a child is correct, he comes to the board and choses an envelope.  He opens it and reads it out loud.  I usually have an adult place the pieces on the skeleton because it is somewhat difficult without knocking the whole thing down.  Keep going in the game until all the envelopes are used up, and the team with the most pieces hung up LOOSES!!
